Women’s World Day of Prayer
The Women’s World Day of Prayer takes place tomorrow, Friday 2 March. A video featuring ten Methodist women from across the Connexion offering their thoughts, prayers and reflections will be available from 9am tomorrow on the Facebook page of the President and Vice-President of the Methodist Conference.

The hopes, fears and challenges for the future of our communities, countries and the world will be the theme of the Joint Public Issues Team (JPIT) Conference taking place in Manchester on Saturday 17 March. You can read more about the conference here.

Superintendents’ Conferences 2018
The number of tickets available for the Superintendents’ Conferences 2018 have been increased to allow more people to attend. This year, the conferences are based around the theme How can we sing the Lord’s song? Details of the conference in Oxford, 16 to 18 May, can be found here. One Programme Participants
Churches who would like to host a young person to work with them, paid and trained by the Methodist Church as a ONE Programme Participant, have until Monday 6 March to apply. Placements are for one year and for 15 hours per week. For more information, click here.

A beautifully-designed adult colouring book for relaxation or daily devotions is now available from Methodist Publishing. The book, Slow Journeys in the Same Direction, is by the Revd Geoffrey Baines, a Methodist Minister and an associate chaplain at the University of Edinburgh.
