URC marks Inter Faith Week with events and resources

The United Reformed Church (URC) has coordinated a series of special events and created resources to help mark Inter Faith Week, taking place from 8-15 November. On 9 November, an online celebration will take place to review a pilot event which took place in October where conversations between mosques and churches were held. The pilot underlines the aims of Inter Faith Week: encouraging friendships between people of different faiths and in so doing, bringing greater understanding. Lead nurse wins Royal College of Nursing Black History Month Award

Bernice Boore, a member of St Andrew’s United Reformed Church (URC) in Reading, has won the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) 2020 South East Black History Month ‘Making a Difference’ Award.
