Care homes supported by international church partnership
The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT), a partner of the United Reformed Church (URC), has provided financial support and resources to care homes in the UK that have been affected by Covid-19. Today (22 June) marks the third Windrush Day, the 72nd anniversary of the SS Empire Windrush arriving at Tilbury Docks in Essex carrying the first Caribbean migrants to the UK.
